PRIVACY

Last updated 12 June 2026

Skylog is a digital pilot logbook. Your flying record is personal, and this page explains plainly what we collect, where it lives, and what we do (and don't do) with it.

WHAT WE COLLECT

WHERE IT LIVES

Your data is held on secure servers located in Sydney, Australia. It’s protected in transit and access is isolated per account, so your records are only available to your own login.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and only retain usage information for as long as we reasonably need it. You can ask us to remove your data at any time.

AI PROCESSING (AUTOLOG™)

When you choose to use the AutoLog import feature, photos of the pages you scan are processed by a trusted AI service provider for the sole purpose of reading the handwriting into draft entries for you. This happens only when you actively use that feature. Photos kept in your page backup are not processed this way unless you run an import on them.

WHAT WE DON'T DO

YOUR CONTROL

EMAIL

We send the emails needed to run your account — confirmation, password resets, and important service notices. No marketing lists, no newsletters you didn't ask for.

QUESTIONS OR REQUESTS

For any privacy question or request — including access to or deletion of your information under the Australian Privacy Principles — email support@skylog.com.au and we'll respond as quickly as we can.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll note it here and update the date above.
